Grown by Jesus Salcedo at Finca Pastal which is located in Buesaco, Narino. This coffee was picked and hand sorted by Jesus and his wife Maria. The cherries were then fermented in water tanks for 50 hours. The coffee was then pulped, washed twice and then dried on raised beds until ideal moisture content was achieved.
Jesus worked as a coffee picker for 25 years. He first started picking coffee at 14 years of age in Inza, Cauca and La Plata, Huila. Jesus married Maria del Rosario in 2010 and decided to move to Buesaco where they took over Maria's fathers farm and started growing coffee.
