Potential Delays to South Island

There was a ferry grounding on Friday, June 21st which will potentially affect arrival times for packages sent to the South Island.

More information on the ferry grounding can be found here.

Below is a message from our courier partner:

"There were no NZ Post trucks on that particular Ferry however as you can appreciate the ferries were down by one anyway and now there will be only one ferry for freight.

We should have communications as to a contingency plan and our Network Management have been working all weekend on a plan.

We should have communications on Monday however please bear with us as it may take some time to work through how we will move freight to the South Island and vice versa.

All freight companies will be in the same situation."

There is a three-day delay for orders to South Island due to bad weather.
