This coffee is produced by smallholders from Cooperativa Coopagro located in the province of Jaen in the beautiful municipality of Cajamarca in the Northern Highlands of Peru.

Coopagro Peru is an organization of producers dedicated to coffee growing, whose main objective is to develop projects related to the improvement of organic coffee production, preserving the ecological balance of the environment and supporting the commercialization of the smallholder products and thus improving their livelihoods. This cooperative focuses its efforts on quality at every step of the harvest. From the seed, to the final harvest and processing, they are aligned with good farming practices.

These producers are located at 1850 m.a.s.l and above in a region that is well known for its excellent climate conditions for growing high-quality coffee. This region mainly produces varieties such as Caturra, Bourbon, Catuai and Mundo Novo.

Please note that espresso requires micro adjustments and while we test the grind size on our equipment, there is a chance that it will perform differently on your gear. If you've ordered ground espresso from us before, let us know which number you'd like the grind size to be on your order notes.
