Delivery Delays
Kia Ora, Espresso Workshop whānau!
Please see below update from NZ Post regarding weather-related incidents across New Zealand.
---
Please be advised that there are significant delays especially with economy freight. We would ask for patience as there is no control of these issues and NZPOST will be doing all that they can once the weather clears to send freight where it needs to go for delivery.
- Waikato: parts of some runs will experience road closures. Couriers will scan freight for areas they can't access.
- We are working to advise which areas have no access however there are multiple rural areas to check as you can appreciate.
- Manawatu - Closed fielding and Marton due to red warnings.
- Palmerston North - We have a truck waiting in Taihape currently awaiting an ETA.
- Whanganui – Some couriers stood down due to Health and Safety. Delayed truck arrived this morning.
- Wellington – Rural Drivers have been stood down until assessments of areas can be made.
- Hawkes Bay and Gisborne – Some rural drivers unable to access however others are delivering.
- Gisborne - Road between Napier and Gisborne closed last night - road may be opened around 11.00am.
- Interisland freight going North and South is being held due to the Ferries being down, this has been extended for the rest of today.
This is an evolving situation so we may be able to give further updates once they become available. Rest Assured if couriers can access areas and actually have items to deliver they will be delivering. Freight will be stuck on trucks and slow to arrive at Depots which are already holding freight from the last couple of days in specific areas.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
If you’re in one of the affected areas, please stay safe.
