Grown in the red volcanic soil of Kiambu County, just 25 kilometers outside Nairobi, Kenya Tatu Estate PB comes from one of Kenya’s most respected coffee farms. Tatu Estate is part of Kofinaf Company Ltd, a producer with deep roots in the country’s coffee history.

With high altitude, rich soil, and two rainy seasons a year, the farm has everything it needs to grow high-quality coffee. The varieties grown here are tough enough to handle drought and disease, but still deliver clean, complex flavors in the cup.

The coffee is pulped, fermented, soaked, and then dried slowly on raised beds under the sun. Water is re-circulated during processing and runoff is stored in on-site dams to keep things sustainable.

Tatu Estate takes pride in doing things the right way. Careful farming, clean processing, and a strong focus on the people and land that make it all possible.
